The National Meteorological Service of Belize (Belize Met Service) says that shower activity is expected to increase today ahead of an approaching tropical wave.
The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today along with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms occurring mostly over inland areas. For tonight, partly cloudy skies with isolated showers and thunderstorms over the south.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 82 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 81 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 75 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 69 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be blowing East-Southeast between 05-15 knots and the sea state will be light chop.
Low tide began at 12:09 p.m. and high tide will come in at 6:37 p.m.
The sun will set at 5:33 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 1:27 a.m.
