Police: Belize City man gunned down on Yabra basketball court

By BBN Staff: Police are investigating the murder of Belize City resident Shakeem Dennison that occurred this afternoon at the Yabra basketball court.

Investigation revealed that shortly before 5 pm, Dennison was on the court playing a game along with a friend when a lone gunman on a motorcycle pulled up.

The man approached the men and shot Dennison multiple times.

The culprit then escaped.

Shakeem died on the spot.
