BREAKING: Escaped prisoner caught, several still on the run

By BBN Staff: Police have confirmed that one of the 28 inmates that escaped from the Belize Central Prison last night has been apprehended.

Mark Pelayo was reportedly caught on the Burrell Boom road this morning.

Police also say that ground and helicopter searches are in progress for the inmates that are still at large.

They are all considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call 922 or the nearest police station.
