BREAKING: Nine prisoners recaptured, 19 more on the run

By Aaron Humes: As of this morning, nine prisoners are confirmed recaptured and surrendered to authorities. This leaves 19 on the run.

Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams, said authorities believe the remaining escapees are headed to those places they called home before they were jailed and once again called on family members, friends and the escapees themselves to come in voluntarily.

Two of the remaining escapees are Guatemalans but have not made it to the Western Border; a third, Juan Garcia, has been recaptured.

The lone escapee killed, 34 year old Akeem Tillett, has been confirmed to have fired on approaching officers in the orange orchard on the Coastal Road and police responded with proportionate force, according to Commissioner Williams.
