COVID-19 update: 46 new cases identified

By BBN Staff: Data from the Ministry of Health indicate that of the 180 samples processed, 46 new cases of COVID-19 were identified.

There are now 1059 active cases of the virus.

The breakdown of the new cases is as follows:

Corozal – 1 in Town

Orange Walk: 25 (9 Town, 2 Trial Farm, 3 Guinea Grass, 1 San Jose Palmar, 1 San Felipe, 1 Santa Cruz, 1 San Estevan, 2 from San Narciso CZ, 1 from Patchakan CZ, 1 from BZ City, 1 from Lord’s Bank BZ, 1 from Maya Mopan SC, 1 from Pueblo Viejo TOL)

Belize – 13 (6 City, 2 Ladyville, 2 Mahogany Heights, 1 Hattieville, 1 from Belmopan CY, 1 from Independence SC)

Cayo – 7 (3 Belmopan, 1 San Ignacio, 2 Camalote, 1 Roaring Creek)

One thousand six hundred and twenty six patients have recovered from the virus.
