By BBN Staff: Family members of 3 Honduran nationals are seeking their Government’s assistance in repatriating their relatives who are reportedly detained in Belize due to expired visas, Proceso Digital reports.
The relatives said that the women came to Belize to work but their visas expired, so they were detained.
Those reportedly detained in Belize are Emerita Esperanza Núñez Vallecillo, Ericka Waldina Castellanos Murillo and Mirtala Rodríguez Oliva.
The report doesn’t indicate where in Belize the Hondurans are being held but stated that they are only being fed biscuits and water during their detention.
