Majority of health care workers exposed to COVID-19 outside workplace

By Aaron Humes: The Ministry of Health reminds  that for health care workers, their self-protection is just as important outside the workplace.

Dr Manzanero stated that as much as 85 percent of workers infected are outside the workplace.

As for managing the emergency, Dr Manzanero made note that the percentage of active cases has hovered in the upper 30th percentile and that the response is one of containment, testing and isolating cases through sweeps and in the health facilities.
