Another escaped prisoner caught

By BBN Staff: Authorities have apprehended another escaped prisoner that was involved in last week’s prison break.

Reports are that Luis Paiz was seen walking past the Hattieville Police Station this afternoon, and was taken into police custody.

Paiz, who was convicted of theft, is expected to face additional charges relating to his escape.

His capture leaves 13 inmates still at large since they escaped from the Belize Central Prison on the night of Monday, October 12.

Police have since launched an investigation into how the escape took place.
