By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize (Belize Met Service) says that a gradual decrease in moisture is expected over the country today.
The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy spells with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms mostly offshore this morning, moving inland this afternoon and evening, and mainly in the south tonight. Elsewhere, showers will be isolated.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 77 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 76 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 66 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be gusty, blowing North-Northwest 05-15 knots and the sea state will be light chop.
Low tide began at 6:00 a.m. and high tide will come in at 12:41 p.m.
The sun will set at 5:27 p.m. and the moon will rise at 8:43 a.m.
