Man and minor shoot themselves playing with a homemade gun

By BBN Staff: A man and a minor, 16, had to receive medical treatment today after they shot themselves playing with a homemade gun.

Police say that Theodore Cal, 20, and the male minor went to the Southern Regional Hospital today after the weapon discharged, hitting Cal in the left ankle and the minor on the left side of the abdomen.

No official word has been issued about the possibility of any criminal charges being filed.
