Twelve people charged following Red Bank political brawl

By BBN Staff: Following a video that went viral on social media over the weekend, 12 people have been arrested and charged for offenses of failure to wear a mask and failure to social distance in Red Bank, Southern Belize.

The Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams said on Monday that he had contacted the Officer Commanding and directed that those in the video committing an offense to be arrested and charged.

Those charged were:

Kirk Talbot

Caroline Foreman

Albert Moody

Antonio Cal

Reino Cal

Phillip Cal

Edgar Cal

Valentine Cal

Sidro Cal

Magarito Cal

Justino Cal

Candaliana Cal.

 All were granted and met bail.

Police investigations continue.
