Ministry of Health: Belizean man in his 80s dies of Covid-19

By BBN Staff: The COVID-19 pandemic has claimed another Belizean life, according to the latest report from the Ministry of Health.

“… this is a male who had been hospitalized from earlier in the month at the Northern Regional Hospital, he was in his 80s and died at the regional hospital,” the MOH said.

With this latest death, Belize’s case-fatality rate now stands at 1.57%.

Belize has now lost 46 lives to COVID-19.
