Tony Herrera nominated; was he COVID-19 free?

By Aaron Humes: UDP Corozal South East standard-bearer Antonio “Tony” Herrera has been nominated as a candidate, party leader Patrick Faber confirmed.

There was a question because as of Monday, he was awaiting a negative result of a COVID-19 test to clear him to be nominated today.

Faber was attending to his own constituency and so was not aware if Herrera was cleared on Tuesday, but he confirmed that he appeared in person which suggests he was cleared.

 Faber dismissed any talk of the distance between him and Herrera, maintaining they worked well together despite Herrera initially favoring John Saldivar in the party leadership convention.
