Kerosene prices decrease by 70 cents

Posted: Thursday, October 22, 2020. 3:05 pm CST.

By BBN Staff: Today, the Ministry of Finance informed that effective midnight, the pump price for kerosene will decrease by 70 cents from $5.43 to $4.73 per gallon.

The prices for premium gasoline, regular gasoline, and diesel will remain unchanged at $9.20, $8.86, and $8.33 per gallon, respectively.

The Ministry notes that the price change reflects the current demand and supply conditions of crude oil in the international petroleum market and fluctuations in the acquisition price of refined fuel products in the countries from which Belize obtains its supplies.

The Government says that it is monitoring the price movements and supply conditions closely and will work with the fuel industry to safeguard the pump prices paid by Belizean consumers.
