Milin calls out Erwin Contreras for registering in constituency where he doesn’t reside

By BBN Staff: PUP Standard bearer for Cayo West Jorge ‘Milin’ Espat has confirmed to the people that he forgot to register in the constituency thus will not be able to vote in the November 11 general elections.

Section 57 of the constitution provides that a candidate who is not registered to vote is eligible for office.

Espat says that he isn’t lying to the people and called out current Area representative, Erwin Contreras for registering in the division that he doesn’t reside in.

“If that is true, then he has violated the law by registering to vote in an area in which he does not reside! And the disregard for the law by this UDP administration is much more than what we can imagine,” Espat said.
