COVID-19 Update: 56 new cases identified

By BBN Staff: Data from the Ministry of Health indicate that of the 343 samples processed today, 56 new cases were identified.

The breakdown of the new cases is as follows:

Corozal – 20 (5 Town, 4 Chunox 2 San Andres, 2 Caledonia 1 Calcutta, 1 San Pedro Village, 1 Cristo Rey, 1 Copper Bank, 1 Concepcion, 1 Xaibe, 1 from San Roman)

Orange Walk – 26 (17 Town, 5 Trial Farm, 3 Chan Pine Ridge, 1 San Estevan)

Belize – 7 (3 City, 1 Sandhill, 1 Maskall, 1 Burrell Boom, 1 from San Narciso CZ)

Cayo – 3 (1 Belmopan, 2 Roaring Creek)

Forty nine more patients recovered.

Active cases of COVID-19 in Belize is at 36.6% of total identified cases.
