The National Meteorological Service of Belize (Belize Met Service) says that a gradual decrease in moisture and unstable conditions is expected during the next 24 to 48 hours.

The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy spells with isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms, primarily in the south.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing West-Northwest 05-10 knots and the sea state will be slight becoming light chop.

“A small craft caution is in effect for the possibility of gusty winds and locally rough seas near heavy showers and thunderstorms,” the Met Service said.

Low tide will begin at 12:32 p.m. and high tide will come in at 6:50 p.m.

The sun will set at 5:24 p.m. and the moon will rise at 2:31 p.m.
