By BBN Staff: Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) announced today that there is an ongoing emergency power outage on the south side of Belize City.
The power outage is in the Jane Usher Boulevard Area that is adjacent to Mudd St. and the basketball court.
BEL explained that the outage was necessary for crews to replace a damaged transformer in the area.
The outage is expected to be concluded by noon today.
