Grocery store in Belize City robbed

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating a robbery that occurred at 139 store on Neal’s Pen road in Belize City.

Businessman, Jianming Liao, told police that around 5:50 p.m. he was inside the store when 3 men entered.

One of the men wore a PUP shirt and the other, in a red shirt bought some cigarettes. Then, another man with a cream shirt and red hat took out a gun and demanded money.

The men stole cash and escaped on separate bikes.

An investigation is ongoing.
