By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and deepening political polarization, Americans head to the polls to elect a new President next week.
The United States Presidential election is scheduled for November 3, 2020. That is only a week away and as campaigns for Donald Trump have intensified so have those of Joe Biden.
The Quinnipiac University Poll demonstrates that Former Vice President Joe Biden is ahead of President Donald Trump. According to Director, Doug Schwartz, Biden has led in many national polls.
However, an article published in Christian Today magazine says that most evangelicals are ready to re-elect US President Donald Trump.
The Washington Post notes that an average of national polls since October 12 indicated that Biden was leading Trump at 52% to 43%.
The United States Embassy in Belize reminds all United States citizen voters in Belize that you can cast your vote in the 2020 elections by:

Return your signed, completed ballot.
Some states allow you to return your completed ballot electronically and others do not.
If your state requires you to return paper voting forms or ballots to local election officials by mail, you can do so through international mail, professional courier service, or through the U.S. Embassy Belmopan Diplomatic Post Office (DPO).
