8 arriving passengers test positive for COVID-19; all are second home owners in San Ignacio

Posted: Wednesday, October 28, 2020. 9:52 pm CST.

By BBN Staff: Eight (8) passengers who arrived via the Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport (PGIA) have tested positive for COVID-19. This is after a relatively smooth hiatus where on most days no case, or at most only one case, was detected in passengers arriving via the PGIA.

According to the Director of Health Services, all 8 cases at the PGIA are from individuals who are second home owners in San Ignacio.

These individuals are expected to be placed on quarantine for at least 10 days or until a negative COVID-19 test result is obtained.
