Guinea Grass resident dies of COVID-19

By BBN Staff: A 38-year-old man from Guinea Grass has lost his life to COVID-19.

Health officials say that the man died prior to receiving any medical treatment at the hospital.

The diagnosis was made post mortem. The patient is the 52nd person in Belize to die of COVID-19.

Case fatality rate in Belize now stands at 1.59%.
