24 patients are currently hospitalized across Belize due to COVID-19

By BBN Staff: As Belize recorded its 58th COVID-19 related death, including 6 deaths in the last 48 hours, there are more sad news to report tonight.

The Ministry of Health reports that a total of 24 patients are currently hospitalized across Belize due to COVID-19. There are 9 patients are at the Northern Regional Hospital, 2 at Corozal Community Hospital, 2 at Western Regional Hospital, 2 at San Ignacio Community Hospital and 9 in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH). Of the 9 patients in the ICU at the KHMH, only one is intubated. 

The good news is that 2 patients were discharged earlier today from the KHMH and 21 more COVID-19 recovered today. Total recoveries are now 2,148, representing 62% of identified cases.
