By BBN Staff: Director of Health Services (DHS), Dr. Marvin Manzanero confirmed to BBN, that 8 patients who had tested positive for COVID-19 at the Philip Goldson International Airport are now quarantined at home.

Manzanero explained that since the hotels that were being used as quarantine centers returned to some form of normalcy, so did their rates.

Therefore, health officials and patients reached an agreement on a suitable place to stay.

The patients are homeowners in San Ignacio and they were transported from the quarantine center to their home with a special transportation and in line with all the guidelines to avoid the spread of the virus.
