COVID-19 update: 25 new cases identified

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health informed that of 91 samples processed today, 25 new cases were identified. This is a positivity rate of 27.5%.

The breakdown of the new cases is as follows:

Corozal – 1 Town

Orange Walk – 1 Town

Belize – 3 (2 City, 1 Ladyville)

Cayo – 4 (2 Benque Viejo, 2 Santa Familia)

Stann Creek – 16 (3 Santa Cruz, 2 Riversdale, 2 San Juan, 1 Santa Rosa, 1 Sarawee, 1 Maya Mopan, 1 Sagitun Farm, 1 Green Gold Banana Farm, 3 from Bella Vista TOL, 1 from Big Falls TOL)

Twelve more patients recovered and 36.4% of cases remain active.
