Posted: Saturday, October 31, 2020. 10:24 pm CST.

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health says that it is closely monitoring 3 active work related clusters in Belize City.

Health officials say that more details will be provided tomorrow and samples are being processed through the night.

The Ministry also reported that the processing of samples taken from the banana farm workers (random sampling) has started and more cases are anticipated to be identified.

“We continue to note and get reports of poor adherence to safety/health protocols at work and ongoing social events as key events driving the numbers,” the Ministry noted.

The public is urged to adhere to all precautionary measures to avoid the spread of COVID-19.
