Alrick Smith stable after murder attempt

By BBN Staff: Belize City car dealer, Alrick Smith, is listed as being in stable condition after he was shot to the head yesterday.

Reports are that Smith was driving on Button Wood Bay Boulevard around 4:40 p.m. when a blue car drove up next to him and the passenger fired two shots.

Smith was hit below the left ear and drove himself to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) for treatment.

Police are investigating.
