COVID-19 Update: 115 new cases identified

By BBN Staff: One hundred and fifteen new cases of COVID-19 were identified today.

A total of 388 tests were processed. The positivity rate of cases is now at 29.6%.

The breakdown of new cases is as follows:

Corozal – 43 (19 Town, 5 Ranchito, 5 Libertad, 2 Copper Bank, 2 San Victor, 1 San Narciso, 1 San Andres, 1 San Roman, 1 Concepcion, 1 Calcutta, 1 Santa Clara, 1 Chan Chen, 1 San Joaquin, 1 San Pedro Village, 1 from Belize City)

Orange Walk – 7 (5 Town, 1 Trial Farm, 1 San Estevan)

Belize – 25 (13 City, 1 PGIA from Yo Creek OW, 3 Ladyville, 1 Lord’s Bank, 1 Hattieville, 1 Burrell Boom, 1 Biscayne, 1 Mahogany Heights, 1 San Pedro, 1 from San Jose OW, 1 from Hope Creek SC)

Cayo -15 (9 Belmopan, 2 Santa Elena, 2 Benque Viejo, 1 Roaring Creek, 1 Billy White)

Stann Creek – 17 (1 Dangriga, 3 Santa Cruz, 1 Placencia, 1 Alta Vista, 1 Cow Creek, 10 from Bella Vista TOL)

Toledo – 8 (4 Punta Gorda, 1 Big Falls, 1 San Marcos, 1 Hicatee Creek, 1 from Dangriga)

Thirty one more patients recovered today.
