Ministry of Health: Several COVID-19 patients discharged from the hospital, some remain hospitalized

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health (MOH) issued an update on the national COVID-19 situation, noting that several patients were discharged from the hospital today while others remain hospitalized receiving varying levels of medical intervention.

The MOH said that two patients were discharged from the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) earlier today and another was discharged from the Northern Regional Hospital (NRH).

“Currently, the KHMH COVID-19 unit has 3 patients intubated, 2 males and one female. One female was ex-tubated yesterday,” the MOH said. “Three other confirmed cases are on supplementary oxygen and one highly suspect is under observation.”

Meanwhile, the NRH has three confirmed cases hospitalized, two males and one female and the Western Regional Hospital (WRH) has five hospitalized patients. The Ministry notes that this data is subject to change as a full report will be published later today.
