The National Meteorological Service of Belize (Belize Met Service) says that moist and unstable conditions will continue to affect the country today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy to overcast skies with frequent outbreaks of showers, periods of rain, and thunderstorms.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 78 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 72 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 68 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 62 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be gusty, blowing East-Northeast between 15-15 knots and the sea state will be rough-very rough.

“A small craft warning remains in effect and operators of small crafts should remain in safe harbor,” the Met Service added.

Low tide began at 7:17 a.m. and high tide will come in at 1:37 p.m.

The sun will set at 5:19 p.m. and the moon will rise at 9:23 p.m.
