The United States, Mexico and International Financial Institutions are standing by to provide assistance with food, water and shelter as needed.
The British Army Training Support Unit Belize (BATSUB) is assisting the Belize Defence Force with search and rescue operations.
Minister of National Security, Michael Peyrefitte, said the BDF and Coast Guard are in operation in the center and south and his office is coordinating with the villages to help distribute food and water, subject to COVID-19 protocols.
Most of the South is seeing reduced flooding except for the Dangriga area, where a few families accessed shelters.
In Belmopan one family relocated while two were sheltered in San Ignacio.
