Weather experts monitoring area in the Caribbean for possible storm development

By BBN Staff: The United States National Hurricane Center (NHC) is currently monitoring an area within the Caribbean Sea that has the potential for storm formation in the coming week.

The NHC said that the area, located Northwest of Colombia, has a 0 percent chance of cyclonic development within the next 40 hours, but a 30 percent chance of cyclonic development within the next five days.

The projections are all preliminary, as such, no projections can be made as to expected trajectory or strength.
