By BBN Staff: Muffles College, the alma mater of Prime Minister John Briceño publicly congratulated him today on his victory in the 2020 General Elections.

“John Anthony Briceño, Belize’s 5th Prime Minister, graduated Muffles College in 1978, and he returned to be of service as a teacher for some time. Today we join the nation in congratulating him, and we are glad that during his formative years at Muffles College, he was taught to be of service to others,” the school said.

Muffles also acknowledged his wife Rossana Briceño, noting that she too graduated from Muffles in 1986.

“Both of you have made your Alma Mater proud. Godspeed!” Muffles added.

Muffles also called on them both to serve Belize and uphold the constitution going forward.
