By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service says to expect a shower or two amid otherwise fair conditions countrywide.
For the next 24 hours, there will be some cloudy spells with a few showers, periods of rain, and isolated thunderstorms mostly inland this afternoon, becoming isolated by tonight.
Winds are from the north to northeast at 0 to 10 knots, while the sea state is slight. A flood warning remains in effect for communities in the Belize District.
Temperatures today will reach 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 88 over inland areas and 80 in the hills. Tonight, temperatures will reach 74 degrees along the coast, 72 inland, and 67 in the hills.
Tides will be high at 9:31 a.m. and 8:57 p.m. and low at 3:00 p.m. The sun sets at 5:16 p.m. this evening and rises at 5:57 a.m. Sunday morning.
The extended outlook calls for showers, periods of rain, or thunderstorms which will be isolated Sunday morning, increasing to a few Sunday afternoon and night.
