Long standing dispute led to shooting in Ladyville and injuries to minor, says Police

By BBN Staff: Yesterday BBN reported that a minor, 15, was shot to the neck and admitted to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) in a stable condition.

The incident occurred on Sunday 15th November, 2020 just after 2:00 a.m. when Shane Bahadur, 33 and a 15 year old minor were socializing at a residence at #13 Perez Street in Ladyville, Belize district.

A lone gun man who was identified by the victims, entered the yard and fired shots at their direction, hitting the minor.

ASP Alejandro Cowo told the media today that the motive for the shooting appears to be the result of a long standing dispute that the shooter has with Bahadur.
