6 armed men invade home in Burrel Boom, tie up the entire family

By BBN Staff: Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Wednesday night in Burrell Boom Village, Belize District.

According to reports, Garry Samuels,53, was at home with his family when 2 armed men wearing hoodies and masks entered the front of his home while four others entered from his backyard.

The six men then tied up all of the family members and then proceeded to take an assortment of items including 4 cell phones, gold chains, medals and rings, a Samsung hard drive, a Hitachi hard drive, a Dell laptop, an MK watch, earrings, and bracelets.

All items to a total value of $19, 464.

The armed robbers then exited the home and escaped.

Quick police response led to the detention of 6 persons that were traveling inside of a grey Ford vehicle.

Police also found the stolen items inside of the car

The men are expected to be charged today.
