One arrested in Eden Mejia murder case

By BBN Staff: Police have arrested and charged one person in connection with the murder of Eden Mejia, which took place in Punta Gorda town on Wednesday night.

Police arrested and charged Aduan Usher, 29, a PG resident for Mejia’s murder based on information obtained during the police investigation. He has been charged with the crime of murder.

On Wednesday night, two men forced their way into Mejia’s home on Pampana Street. Mejia, who was lying down on a mattress on the floor at the time, was shot multiple times during the incident.

He was taken to the Punta Gorda Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. Notably, Usher is a resident of the same address as Mejia.
