Shooter told Charles Young he was there to kill him

By BBN Staff: Reports say that before a shooter opened fire on Charles Young in Belize City yesterday, he made it known that Young was the target.

Police say that Young and another man were getting out of a vehicle that was parked on Western Avenue around 3:30 p.m. when two men approached them.

One of them reportedly told Young “I come kill you,” then fired several shots at him.

Young escaped the ordeal with only grazes to the body and received medical treatment for his injuries.

An investigation is ongoing.
