Department of Transport advises bus operators of curfew

Posted: Thursday, November 26, 2020. 4:32 pm CST.

By BBN Staff: The Department of Transport issued a statement informing all bus operators and the public that the Minister of Health and Wellness, Michel Chebat has announced a 21-day curfew for the entire country.

The curfew commences on Saturday, November 28, 2020, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Only bus operators with a valid road service permit with runs starting from 5:15 a.m. which are to return to their original point of departure before 8:30 p.m. will be allowed to operate.

Special written permission must be granted by the Department of Transport to those bus operators who will need to operate outside of their normal bus schedule without interfering with the existing bus schedules within non-curfew hours.
