Ministry of Health and Wellness to provide food packages to families in quarantine

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health and Wellness informed today that it will provide food packages and stipend to families in quarantine. The program will work along with the Ministry of Human Development, Families & Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs.

Persons who are unable to quarantine at home will quarantine in hotels.

The Ministry said that it will assess housing conditions to determine adequacy for isolation and/or quarantine while the Ministry of Home Affairs and New Growth Industries will work on enforcement measures.

Accommodation and other logistics will be provided for health care personnel as well.

A new health education campaign will also be launched shortly.
