New testing sites announced; more supplies and staff

By Aaron Humes: The Ministry of Health and Wellness has announced an expansion of testing sites across the country.

In Orange Walk, nearly all villages will have mobile clinic services and stationary sites will be established in Orange Walk Town.

Likewise in the Stann Creek District, sites will be established in Bella Vista and Independence. A schedule will soon be released.

Minister Michel Chebat warned that things will get worse in terms of new cases, based on the addition of rapid tests to clinics in each district.

The Ministry will procure additional supplies and human resources for community hospitals, and approval for established staff and additional medical equipment and staff.
