Power outage scheduled for today for parts of Belize District

By BBN Staff: Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) informed that from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. power outages are scheduled for the following areas in the Belize District:

All areas along the Philip Goldson Highway between Mile 4.5 to the Airport junction in Ladyville, including Fuller’s Crescent, Driftwood Bay and Palm Grove Estate and all areas along the Airport Road.

Then, from 4 to 4:30 p.m. the entire Vista Del Mar, Perez Road, Marage Road and Milpa will be affected by power outage.

BEL says that it apologize for the inconvenience caused.

“These power outages are necessary for BEL to conduct upgrades on high voltage lines to improve reliability of power supply to these areas,” BEL noted.
