Caribbean Tire’s “Gold Rush Sale” comes to Punta Gorda

By BBN Staff: Caribbean Tire’s annual Gold Rush sale touched down at its Punta Gorda branch today, bringing discounts that will last up to tomorrow, November 28.

 The sale features discounts on items across the store including 20 percent off on lubricants, 20 percent of on tools, and the signature “buy three get one free” sale on Hankook Tires.

There will also be discounts on services such as oil change and professional automotive safety inspections. Customers also get a chance to enter a raffle to win a brand new motorcycle, which will be given away at the end of tomorrow’s sale. They can also look out for Caribbean Motors, which will be on location offering deals on brand new vehicles.

 
Joe Reimer, Marketing Director of Caribbean Tire, explained that the company decided to hold the sale in spite of the complications brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, as it is a sale that not only holds some tradition but one which customers needed in these difficult times.

 “We’ve had it every year for more than ten years now and people have kind of come to expect something of it,” Reimer said. “We knew that the public, in general, was suffering financially as well, so we thought it was a good idea to still go ahead and give them this offer even though we struggled financially ourselves. We are all in this together.”

 He noted that similar sales were held earlier this month in Santa Elena, Orange Walk, and Corozal. Larger sale offers are planned for Belize City and Belmopan in early December.
