COVID-19 Update: 72 new cases identified

By BBN Staff: Cases of COVID-19 continue to increase. Today, 266 samples were processed of which 72 new cases were identified.

The breakdown of new cases is as follows:

Corozal – 5 (2 Town, 1 San Andres, 1 San Victor, 1 Santa Elena Village)

Orange Walk – 9 (1 Town, 2 San Felipe, 1 San Jose, 1 San Pablo, 1 San Estevan, 1 Trinidad, 1 from Buena Vista CZ, 1 from Chunox CZ)

Belize – 11 (5 City, 4 Mahogany Heights, 2 Ladyville)

Cayo – 35 (6 Belmopan, 10 San Ignacio, 6 Santa Elena, 4 Benque Viejo del Carmen, 3 Camalote, 1 Roaring Creek, 1 Bullet Tree Falls, 1 San Jose Succotz, 1 Esperanza, 1 San Antonio, 1 St. Margaret)

Stann Creek – 11 (3 Dangriga, 1 Independence, 2 Santa Rosa, 1 Hopkins, 1 San Juan, 1 from Bladen TOL, 1 from Trio TOL, 1 from BZ City)

Toledo – 1 Elridgeville

Thirty-five more patients recovered today.
