Residents of Twin Towns concerned about excessive chlorine in the water

By BBN Staff: Residents of the Twin Towns of San Ignacio and Santa Elena are concerned about the ‘excessive’ chlorine in the water.

According to residents, for a few days now, they have been receiving water that they believe has excessive chlorine due to the strong odor.

Residents have taken to social media to express their concerns. Today, a person cited that he developed a body rash due to the water.

The Belize Water Services (BWS) has not yet issued a statement on this issue.
