Sixty new cases of COVID-19

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health and Wellness informed that of the 240 samples processed today, 60 new cases were identified.

The breakdown of new cases is as follows:

Corozal -13 (2 Town, 2 Xaibe, 2 San Narciso, 1 Libertad, 1 Buena Vista, 1 Calcutta, 2 from Guinea Grass OW, 1 from BZ City, 1 from San Pedro Town)

Belize – 16 (6 City, 1 Ladyville, 2 Los Lagos, 1 Maxboro, 1 Sandhill, 1 Mahogany Heights, 2 San Pedro, 1 from Santa Elena CY, 1 from Belmopan CY)

Cayo – 7 (1 Belmopan, 2 San Ignacio, 1 Santa Elena, 1 San Antonio, 1 Esperanza, 1 San Jose Succotz)

Stann Creek – 24 (8 Independence, 2 Placencia, 1 Seine Bight, 1 San Juan, 8 from Bella Vista TOL, 4 from Trio TOL)

There were 16 recoveries today with 43% of cases remaining active.
