The National Meteorological Service of Belize (Belize Met Service) says that generally fair weather conditions will prevail today.
The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy spells with a few showers this morning mainly over the northern districts. Showers will be isolated elsewhere.
“A flood warning remains in effect for communities near rivers, streams, creeks, and waterways in central and western parts of the country, as well as for communities downstream the Rio Hondo river in the north,” the Met Service said.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 89 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 78 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 66 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be blowing East-Southeast between 5-15 knots, and the sea state will be light chop.
High tide will come in at 9:49 a.m. and low tide will begin at 3:10 p.m.
The sun will set at 5:16 p.m. and the moon will rise at 4:57 p.m.
