Deaths due to COVID-19 approaching 150 after 3 more deaths reported

By BBN Staff: After 3 more deaths due to COVID-19 reported on Sunday by the Director of Health Services, total COVID-19 deaths in the jewel is fast approaching 150.

The 3 deaths include a male in his 50s from San Jose Succotz in the Cayo District who died at Western Regional Hospital, a male in his 60’s from Corozal Town and a female in her 80’s from Dangriga.

With these 3 deaths, the tally of patients dying of COVID-19 is now 147 and represents a steadily increasing case fatality rate that now stands at 2.56%.
