Deon McCauley is UPSL Player of the Week after second three-goal haul

This week, he is the player of the week in the United Premier Soccer League after scoring in three back-to-back games for unbeaten Ginga University Atlanta.

McCauley helped his side to a 6-0 victory in a UPSL 2020 Fall Season Georgia Division I game last Saturday, November 21, as Ginga Atlanta, 13-0-0 overall, kept its unbeaten season intact.

McCauley is the Belize Men’s National Team’s all-time leading scorer with 26 goals in 53 appearances and participated in three World Cup qualification cycles for the Jaguars with hopes of a fourth. He was the worldwide top goal scorer in 2014 with 11, tying Luis Suarez (Uruguay) and Robin Van Persie (Netherlands), though Belize missed out on qualification.
