Dolores Balderamos-García tests positive for COVID-19

By BBN Staff: Belize Rural Central Area Representative and Minister of Human Development, Families & Indigenous People’s Affairs Dolores Balderamos-García announced today that she and her family have tested positive for COVID-19.

She made the announcement this morning via her Facebook Page “Dolores For Belize Rural Central” noting that they are all doing well and have no serious difficulties. She also noted that she is adhering to all advice being given by her physician.

” I am working from home. I urge everyone to be so careful. I was careful and still picked up the Covid. Please follow the Ministry of Health and Wellness guidelines and get tested quickly if you need too,” Balderamos-García said.

Several other members of the government have tested positive for COVID-19 recently including Prime Minister John Briceno, who is currently in isolation, recovering from the virus.
